Sabrina joins FJI in 2021 as the first Director of Development and Administration. Upon graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with an Associate’s degree, and Queens College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Sabrina began working as a litigation paralegal at Outten & Golden LLP specifically focusing on WARN class action suits nationwide. She then transitioned to work in the nonprofit sector, where she developed effective plans and strategies to raise money for Delivering Good, a national nonprofit organization that provides brand new essentials for individuals in need. Within a couple of years, Sabrina was promoted to head of development and raised millions of dollars for the organization. She has also enjoyed working in various director roles for local charities, where she implemented development plans, and raised six-figure major gifts through sponsorships, events, and individuals.
Sabrina is most proud of her volunteer work doing outreach events with local churches in Queens, NY, and joining a mentorship program with Hour Children, where mentors spend time with children of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women.
Sabrina is excited to bring eight years of fundraising experience to develop meaningful partnerships with stakeholders and FJI.
